Woodland Crossing is a transformative redevelopment project that reimagines an aging commercial site into a vibrant, mixed-use district. The plan emphasizes reconnecting the surrounding neighborhoods by establishing a new street grid, pedestrian-friendly corridors, and a Village Green as a central gathering space. Phased improvements include façade and interior upgrades to existing buildings, construction of new for-sale residential units, reconfigured parking and circulation for major tenants like Goodwill and Heart City Health, and the introduction of new streetscapes and utility infrastructure to support future growth.

The redevelopment was shaped through a community engagement process that included targeted stakeholder meetings, a multi-day design charrette, and a public pop-up event, all of which informed the site’s program and design. The resulting plan balances market-driven redevelopment with public improvements, creating a framework for a lively and walkable destination that re-establishes Woodland Crossing as a key neighborhood hub.
