The Coral Gables Archives building was completed as the first comprehensive studio in the undergraduate program at the University of Miami.  It was necessary for final drawings to be completed past a schematic level and include a full set of plans, detailed sections, elevations, interior elevations, and a study model. 

The purpose of the Coral Gables Archives was to house the significant documents and artifacts important to the history of the city of Coral Gables.  Program included a theater/meeting hall for presentations and lectures related to the city, classrooms, meeting rooms, media center, as well as a small apartment for visiting guests.
